In January of 2014, TATCHA partnered with Room to Read, an organization whose mission is to change the world by means of educating children. With every full-sized skincare purchase from TATCHA, the partnership allows for one day of school for a girl. The goal started at 35,000 days of school, but as of January 2015, was surpassed by an incredible 238,174 days of school.
Room to Read was founded in 1999, with just less than a few hundred books and a yak as a means for delivery to children in the Himalayas. Additionally, the organization’s Girl Education Program supports girls in nine countries across Africa and Asia. Today, the non-profit has helped over 8.8 million children, with the numbers increasing everyday.
A purple trademark is found on labels of select products, identifying its commitment and contributions to the organization.
