On Wednesday November 18, Thursday November 19 and Friday November 20, please join Picnic Theatre Company, Courage for Kids, Alfred Hitchcock and Cecil B. De Mille for a madcap international spy chase through London and the Scottish countryside! Live from Hollywood’s Lux Radio Theater in 1935, this one hour adaptation of The 39 Steps, the classic thriller from the master of suspense, will transport you to pre-World War II England’s den of intrigue and oddball characters.

Proceeds benefit the preservation of Dumbarton House, one of Georgetown’s finest examples of Federal period architecture, and Courage for Kids GIVE BACK-pack initiative providing backpacks filled with school supplies to homeless and at-risk children graduating from Pre-K programs in the Greater Washington, DC area.

In 2008, I launched AskMissA.com which grew from my personal blog into a site with 700 writers, covering the intersection of charity & lifestyle in 20 U.S. cities. With Charity + Life, I am going back to a personal blog where I can share my favorite things, and continue to shine a light on nonprofits, and cause marketing campaigns to inspire others to give as they live.
