Why is giving back is important to you?
I think it comes naturally. Everybody can help. It is little things and kindness towards others that we need. What may seem a small thing for you might be a big deal for someone else.

How has giving back helped you? I don’t do it to help myself, but when I can make someone smile it makes me very happy. It keeps me grounded to work with real people and be involved with their lives.
How do you incorporate giving back into your life and your work (acting/modeling)? With my work I can bring awareness to different issues. I’m working on few projects where a real charity is involved with a movie.
Which charities are near and dear to you and why? Currently I’m working with A Change For Children (http://www.achanceforchildren.org/). I also visit schools and talk about my career and how important it is to follow your dreams. Children have always been soft spot for me.
Favorite food: Home made kale chips
Favorite cocktail: I don’t drink.. water on the rocks!
Favorite restaurant: The Villa in Woodland Hills. I love the atmosphere in their outdoor patio!
If you could host a dinner party, who would you invite living or dead? I’d invite my whole family because I don’t get to see them too often. Some loved ones have past away so seeing them again would mean a lot.

Favorite vacation spot: Anywhere new! I love travelling and learning about different cultures. Places I’ve been I recommend Cape Town, South Africa. So beautiful!
Favorite TV show: Love Banshee, can’t wait that the next season starts!
Favorite movie: Latest favorite Before I go to sleep
Favorite celebrity: Cameron Diaz
Favorite song: Mr. Probz – Waves
Favorite book: Protocol 7 by Armen Gharabegian
Favorite apps: Instagram, Deezer
Favorite animal: My dog Zeus
Favorite workout routine: Kickboxing!
What experience in your life are you most proud of? I’d say moving to Los Angeles by myself, not knowing anyone and starting everything from the scratch.
How has moving to Hollywood changed your life? For work I’ve got to work with so many great productions and professionals. Also living here and having the great weather every day makes me so grateful that I get to be here.
What advice would you share with those looking at getting into the entertainment industry? Best advice I’ve gotten is: Surround yourself with good people.

What do you love most about acting? I love that I can get into the different characters and be a part of bringing great stories alive on the screen.
What do you love most about modeling? When you take a photo, that moment is gone but the feeling you can lock inside the picture stays forever.
What one thing would you change in this world if you could? Give fresh water to everybody.

In 2008, I launched AskMissA.com which grew from my personal blog into a site with 700 writers, covering the intersection of charity & lifestyle in 20 U.S. cities. With Charity + Life, I am going back to a personal blog where I can share my favorite things, and continue to shine a light on nonprofits, and cause marketing campaigns to inspire others to give as they live.
