Event Planners Who Give Back: Krystel Tien of Couture Events
We have initiated a new segment on Miss A that highlights creative event planners who give back to their communities. They should all be acknowledged and applauded for their charitable work.
Today we are featuring Krystel Tien, Lead Stylist, Creative Director, and Founder of Couture Events – a boutique event styling and coordination studio that makes every event a personalized one. Based in Southern California, Krystel and her team caters to the San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles, and Palm Springs areas. Couture Events is a reputable studio that has been featured in Martha Stewart Weddings, San Diego Magazine, Style Me Pretty, and more.
Krystel has chosen to be a charitable event planner by donating 10% of profits to children in Malawi and other in-need countries through the non-profit, Children of the Nations. Children of the Nations was founded in 2005 by Chris and Debbie Clark. The non-profit works in the USA, Dominican Republic, Sierra Leone, Malawi, Uganda and most recently in Haiti to provide care for orphaned and destitute children. Children of the Nations, through funding primarily from child sponsorship and individual donations, operates homes, schools, farms, skill centers, clinics, and village feeding centers in an effort to provide quality care for children.
