Spending hours perfecting your look is something many of us admit to; how can men think that type of perfection just comes into being? That’s why it’s so disappointing when our make-up fails us only an hour into the big night out. Luckily for us though, Revlon gave us a solution for drippy, flaky eye shadow and they chose the perfect set of eyes to represent the cure for non-stick shadows. Olivia Wilde, TV and movie star shows off Revlon’s unique Colorstay 16-Hour Eye Shadow with grace, but it’s a good thing she has such a long wearing make-up since this starlet is pulling overtime with her charities.

It seems like when it rains, it pours, especially when it comes to natural disasters, but what happened to the people left behind when the attention they still need is shifted to another disaster site? Olivia Wilde would like to know. The actress supports Aid Still Required, a non-profit dedicated to bringing relief to those people affected by natural disasters, but have been left behind as the world shifts its focus and its charity to another disaster site, such as the people in Haiti and New Orleans. Mrs. Wilde shows that she is truly dedicated to bringing fair treatment to all as she she is also an avid participant with Artists For Peace And Justice, a large non-profit started in 2009 in an effort to bring equal opportunity to all of those in impoverished populations. In the past year, Artists For Peace And Justice raised enough money to fund three different schools in Haiti that serve more purpose than just a classroom. The schools will also provide hot meal and clean water to the children attending them.

Thinking that the actress is only concerned with bringing equality to those in other countries? Think again! Mrs. Wilde also supports the American Foundation for Equal Rights. The sole supporter of Proposition 8, the American Foundation for Equal Rights is leading the fight for marriage equality for every American. The actress is also invested in the our nation’s college students while she supports the Millennium Campus Network, a non-profit network of student organizations across the country which aims to bring an end to poverty through the use of our brightest and best.
So, if you’re still thinking you might have to bring along your make-up bag for all of that charity work, you might want to take a look at this week’s Beauty. Revlon can be proud of their spokeswoman as she conquers injustice and poverty, all while never having to reapply her

In 2008, I launched AskMissA.com which grew from my personal blog into a site with 700 writers, covering the intersection of charity & lifestyle in 20 U.S. cities. With Charity + Life, I am going back to a personal blog where I can share my favorite things, and continue to shine a light on nonprofits, and cause marketing campaigns to inspire others to give as they live.
