Recap: TTR Sotheby's International Realty Celebrates 2nd Annual Home Tour

On Thursday, May 24, TTR Sotheby’s International Realty celebrated a very successful 2nd Annual Home Tour at the home of Mark Lowham in McLean, VA.  Co-sponsored by Cartier and Aston Martin, the event as well as the tour benefited CharityWorks, USO and the See Forever Young Adult Center.

Guests enjoyed a lovely evening of cocktails on the patio followed by a lavish buffet dinner presented by Windows Catering.  Aston Martin was on hand to delight us with four sports cars parked in the home’s inviting courtyard – including the Rapide model, toted as “the world’s most beautiful four-door sports car.”
Tony Powell, photographer extraordinaire, was on hand to capture the event for Washington Life.  Guests of note included Keith Whelan of Gilt Groupe, Jennifer Sergent of the Washington Design Center, Regina Galvin of Sotheby’s International, and Leah Gansler of CharityWorks.

Mr. Lowham will co-chair the annual CharityWorks Dream Ball held at the National Building Museum on Saturday, September 29.

In 2008, I launched AskMissA.com which grew from my personal blog into a site with 700 writers, covering the intersection of charity & lifestyle in 20 U.S. cities. With Charity + Life, I am going back to a personal blog where I can share my favorite things, and continue to shine a light on nonprofits, and cause marketing campaigns to inspire others to give as they live.
