Great Meadow, host to the Virginia Gold Cup steeplechase races, is a world class international polo facility that has been described as one of the best playing surfaces between New York and Aiken. Great Meadow Polo Club has over 75 playing members, making it one of the largest in the region. During the summer more than 20,000 fans – young professionals as well as families — gather at Great Meadow with tailgates and picnics to watch the Twilight Polo program. Two matches are held every Saturday night from Opening Night on Saturday, May 19th until mid-September. Stay after the polo matches for moonlight music and dancing.

Join me at the Opening Night And Fashion Show At Twilight Polo this Saturday, May 19, 2012 presented by Aspen Dale Winery at the Barn. Cocktails and Light fare will be provided at 6:00 pm by Chima Steakhouse.

In 2008, I launched AskMissA.com which grew from my personal blog into a site with 700 writers, covering the intersection of charity & lifestyle in 20 U.S. cities. With Charity + Life, I am going back to a personal blog where I can share my favorite things, and continue to shine a light on nonprofits, and cause marketing campaigns to inspire others to give as they live.
