Katydid Collection – a fashion line that inspires women to feel sexy, feminine, and confident – is now offering its Pink Ribbon design on burnout style t-shirts. With a sassy and vintage look, the Pink Ribbon shirt combines ultimate comfort and rhinestone-studded fashion. Katydid Collection is a clothing label that not only offers women’s threads, but men’s and children’s clothing as well. Based out of Dallas, their garments include casual tees, tank dresses, handbags and accessories. With apparel sold in over ten thousand boutiques across the United States, founder and owner Katy Messersmith prides herself in providing only the highest standards for her label.
Introduced in 2009, the Pink Ribbon t-shirt design features the breast cancer pink ribbon on the front and back with the positive words Faith, Hope and Love embellished on them to inspire all who wear them. The shirt designs also include the signature Katydid Collection motifs of angel wings, rhinestones and bright pink detailing. The latest addition to the line, the Pink Ribbon Burnout t-shirt in white, retails for $33. The ultra soft cotton/lycra long sleeve ($33) and short-sleeve tees ($30) are both available in pink, black, and white.

Katydid Collection strongly believes that giving back to the community is essential and has fundraisers often to support great causes. For the entire month of October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Katydid Collection will donate $10 of every Pink Ribbon shirt sold to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation. “The design on our new tee was inspired by the brave women who fight breast cancer and those that support them,” Katy Messersmith stated matter-of-factly. “We are honored to be affiliated with this important cause, and hope all Katydid fans will join in supporting breast cancer awareness,” she added.

In 2008, I launched AskMissA.com which grew from my personal blog into a site with 700 writers, covering the intersection of charity & lifestyle in 20 U.S. cities. With Charity + Life, I am going back to a personal blog where I can share my favorite things, and continue to shine a light on nonprofits, and cause marketing campaigns to inspire others to give as they live.
